This language is wild with the nouns. Seven different cases, then split into masculine animate and inanimate, neuter, and feminine. Oh, and there is singular and plural too.
Goal for the summer: to finally speak Czech well. Got to get on that memorizing.
Chronicling the life and times of a somewhat unwilling but dedicated teacher in a program that sends idealistic youth to teach in some very interesting yet needy schools. This is where I recount the absurdities of my teaching days, ponder pedagogy, and interweave images that are visually pleasing and tend to have nothing to do with teaching. Overall, I offer a collection of things I find awesome in both meanings of the word: the awesome that can uplift and give hope with the awesome that inspires me with fear and hopelessness for America's youth. And makes me laugh. A lot.
