really digging my stand-up desk situation, inspired by friend of a friend in chi and some random articles stumbled upon when stuck in internet black holes. standing up desk is especially great when i click on a hot jam and i don’t even have to get up to start dancing because i am ALREADY UP! oh, and also health benefits blah blah blah.

Chronicling the life and times of a somewhat unwilling but dedicated teacher in a program that sends idealistic youth to teach in some very interesting yet needy schools. This is where I recount the absurdities of my teaching days, ponder pedagogy, and interweave images that are visually pleasing and tend to have nothing to do with teaching. Overall, I offer a collection of things I find awesome in both meanings of the word: the awesome that can uplift and give hope with the awesome that inspires me with fear and hopelessness for America's youth. And makes me laugh. A lot.
